For the second year in a row, the Oswayo Valley Girls Basketball Team is playing in the District IX playoffs.  The team has not had back-to-back appearances in the playoffs since 1993/1994.

Finishing the regular season with a 15-7 record, OV was awarded the 7th seed in the upcoming District IX Tournament.  This has earned the ladies a District IX home playoff game.  This is the first time in OV history that the girls basketball team has had a home playoff game.

OV will be playing the #10 seed, Northern Potter, on Tuesday February 20, 2024.  Tip off will be at 7pm.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students and will be available at the door.  District IX passes are the only passes accepted.

This has been a history making season.  With the win against top seeded Port Allegany in the first ever North Tier League Tournament playoff game, the Oswayo Valley Girls Basketball team upped their record to 16-7.  With 16 wins, the Lady Green Wave have tied for the second most wins in OV girls basketball HISTORY!  Oh, and they will be playing in the first ever North Tier League Tournament Championship game on Saturday February 17, 2024.
