OV HAS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT THE NORTH TIER LEGAUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

GIRLS’ TEAM FINISHED SECOND OVERALL

On Friday the track teams competed in the North Tier League Championships held at CARP Park in Coudersport. Enduring rain and cool temperatures the teams had many outstanding performances. The girls’ team finished second overall and was led by Brooke George as she was crowned North Tier League Champion in the High Jump, Triple Jump and Long Jump. For her efforts Brooke was named the North Tier League MVP for the field events. Eva West placed 2nd in the Javelin and 3rd in both the 100 and 300-meter hurdles. KayLynn George claimed 3rd in the 100 and 4th in the 800 while Charlotte Austin-Keech grabbed 2nd in the 800 and 3rd in the 400.

Lachlan Tabachek led the boys team as he finished in the top 6 in 4 events. Lachlan had second place finishes in the long jump and triple jump while adding a 4th in the 200 and a 5th in the 100. Andrew Coriaty was second in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs while his brother Travis finished 3rd in both events. Dain Lyons claimed 4th in the 400 and 6th in the 800.
